S.O.B Splutter
Casting & Jigging Spoon

A new technique has surfaced recently wherein the flutter spoon is cast out and allowed to sink on a “controlled free line”. Once it contacts the bottom, the angler quickly raises his rod tip, pulling the flutter spoon smartly off the bottom and toward the boat. At about the 12:00 or 1:00 rod position, the flutter spoon is again allowed to drop on the “controlled free line”, and the process is repeated until the flutter spoon is brought in.
The “Splutter Spoon” is shorter and thicker than most conventional flutter spoons and has a unique, more pronounced “shoehorn” shape. This affords the angler the option of using the “Splutter Spoon” as a search bait using the outlined “controlled free line” method, and then once locating the bass, the “Splutter Spoon”, due to it’s unique shape, can then be used as a vertically fished jigging spoon without having to change lures or rods.
During our extensive testing of the “Splutter Spoon” we noted that the bites on the “Splutter Spoon” have mostly been almost violent ....with there being no mistaking what just happened !!! These spoons have a great wobbling actionas well as the ability to get down to those deep fish and entice them into biting with a jigging action. The paint job on these are the same quality you come to expect from S.O.B Lures .
